At the kerb edge in Smithfield End close to the junction with Station Road at the edge of the road there is a hole with fast flowing water emerging. This forms a continuous stream of water fowing down the hill and round the corner into Station Road where the water fills some deep potholes which are not seen by drivers because they are full of water.

Reported by Clive Rodgers at 11:59, Sat 25 July 2020

At the kerb edge there is a steep bank and at the very edge of the road kerb there is fast flowing water source which never stops. It forms a continuous stream of water round the corner into Station Road and continues for folw down Station Road where it fills deep pot holes which are often hit by drivers because they cannot be seen when filled with water. Would be grateful if you could investigate asap; it's not obvious if this is fresh or foul water but there is a constant considerable flow. Many thanks
