Recently resurfaced stretch of road south of Winslow Reported anonymously at 13:21, Sat 25 July 2020 The new chippings surface is dangerous and damaging to cars. It's not good enough to put up 20 MPH speed signs. The loose chippings get thrown onto cars coming the other way damaging paint and glass. I've just had to have a windscreen replace because of a stone chip and on that road again today whilst I was travelling slowly I was overtaken by a car that then ran over the loose material in the centre of the road and threw up stone chippings which have damaged my new windscreen. This surfacing material is dangerous and at least should be swept regularly to remove loose materials. Can I claim compensation for the damaged windscreen?
