Three Road Lanes into one?
Reported in the Road lines / road markings category anonymously at 12:26, Thu 26 April 2018
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1295160.
The lights go green and the race is on! 3 lanes of traffic racing to be first into the one lane over the bridge. What pratt ever thought this was going to be a good idea. Most people are ok but I would like the wing mirrors to stay on my car because some just have to be in front !

So BCC don't care arguments the lane marking cause. You could easily change it to the right lane to turn left only. Then there would only be 2 lanes fighting into one. Not perfect, but better than you can see nothing wrong with it. You also agree to look into this problem when it was reported a year ago. but I guess a pot of white paint and few signs are too expensive.

While the road works were taking place the other day and the cones were in the road, the traffic flowed much better. It was ONLY 2 lanes on Douglas road. one lane turned right into Stocklake the other straight ahead. Bring back the plastic cones!

Third Lane has been removed, Not sure how many cars have hit the concrete you used to block the lane. Guess they will have to learn to wait and Que up like everyone else.
