Please can you advise when this defect was inspected? I only reported it around 6pm on 4th June, and the update from BCC seems to be at 7:08am on 5th June? I find it hard to believe that a drain inspector has already done a site visit in this short time duration.

The drain clearing lorry cleared the drains on 11 April, but the drains on both sides of the road remain blocked, both outside 42 and outside 61 (opposite). Unfortunately I am unable to upload photos.

These drains have been consistently blocked over the last year. A drain unblocking lorry came along recently to clear them, but it seems it has had no effect. There is always water just below the drain cover. The drain floods if someone washes their car! I suspect the drain has likely collapsed - a CCTV inspection is absolutely required. Rob Smith, 61 Bourtonville.
