Flat bit on Wash Hill, outside The Glen and other properties
Reported in the Road surface category anonymously at 15:11, Sun 10 June 2018
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1335648.
The road surface on the flat bit in Wash Hill (between Rose Cottage and Wash Hill Lee) has been appalling for a number of years, large pot holes etc. I was in discussion with Steve Underwood about it about two and a half years ago, and I think he was just about to press the button on resurfacing when the building of two new houses started in Wash Hill Lee and understandably it was not sensible to have a new surface with heavy plant continually going up Wash Hill. Steve Underwood then changed jobs! The building of these houses is now complete. Please can this stretch of road be resurfaced. I am ashamed for friends to walk to my house - it is like a third world country.

Thank you for the update, and for your swift assessment of the problem. I saw your assistant in a van today (Tuesday 12th June) and notice that white chalk marks are there ready for the pot-holes to be filled in again. As I am sure you will appreciate this is not the answer. Pot holes are frequently filled in, but they do not last. We need a whole new surface on the flat bit in Wash Hill. Surely the amount of time spent coming to Wash Hill, could be offset against a piece of new surfacing.

Ref: 40079295.Thank you for filling in holes on the flat bit on Wash Hill. As you will know these fills do not last. When speaking to the men doing the repair last week, they said they have a small machine which they could use to fix the strip immediately in front of the houses which is the main problem,.Please could this strip be replaced. I await to hear.
