Low Rail bridges on Summerleys Road
Reported in the Sign problem category anonymously at 10:15, Thu 22 November 2018
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1467505.
There seems to be insufficient signage for the two low bridges on Summerleys Road. As you can see in the picture this lorry and many others have managed to get all the way to the bridge before realising they are too high. This happens on average about 3 or 4 times per week. All ready we have seen a lorry pull into Northmill to turn around and flatten the road sign, damage the path and grass verges. (issue was reported but no action taken). Few day's ago a lorry pull into the road and parked for 20mins while driver figured out what to do causing the road to be blocked. some Lorries try to reverse all the way back to the industrial estate to turn around. This situation is not safe and a real pain for us as residents. The number of times a lorry has blocked one side of the road and car's having to over take and nearly causing an accident is getting ridiculous. Also my wife and daughter have to cross this road and with lorries blocking it and parking dangerously I worry for their safety. Can we not make sure all lorries from the Regent Park Industrial Estate turn away from the bridges towards Thame end Summerleys road.
