Whole of Penington Road
Reported in the Road surface category anonymously at 09:44, Wed 28 November 2018
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1472072.
The whole surface of the road requires remedy. Not only are there many potholes, but the road is extremely uneven. This during rainy/ snowy weather causes flooding at the Burkes Road end. Ellwood Road to the north has been resurfaced beautifully and no longer suffers from potholes. Unfortunately, with such congestion at the junction of Burkes Road/ A40, many drivers use Penington Road as an alternative route to the A40 during such times, so the road surface gets much more traffic than should be expected. Penington Road is not very well lit at night either, and whilst driving along, many of the potholes are unseen which has, in the past, caused damage to cars. The road has been in this state for quite a few years now. Although some works were carried out some time ago, the overall surface was only patched and I believe a full resurfacing is now required before further problems arise. Thanking you in anticipation.
