This problem is now intolerable for pedestrians walking up London Road. The blocked drain now has water extending to the middle of the carriageway and needs to be dealt with immediately, not at some future date. It has been necessary to place two large refuse bins in the road to prevent traffic driving through the water.

My daughter has just been completely drenched as a result of this problem! A car drove through the puddle at speed - seemingly deliberately as my daughter was walking by. This has been on going for weeks now! You need to fix this as soon as possible. This road is extremely busy.

Today Sunday 10th march 2019. This drain is still blocked !! It is a disgrace that the drain has not been fixed, a poor reflection on the Highways Dept. No surprise though BCC are usless.

As of 14:41 today, the drain is still blocked. First reported on the Wednesday 20 February 2019. This is totally unacceptable. I witnessed an old lady trying to navigate the flooded pavement this morning, poor lady struggled.

It is absolutely disgusting that this has not been fixed. I have seen numerous women with pushchairs and elderly people trying to walk past the issue and being splashed by oncoming traffic. It is a environmental health issue and the water has splashed too many people to count, someone could catch limes disease as there were rats previously lurking around that drain previously. This is not on.

This is a main road with a lot of pedestrians including school children using this as their main daily route. During any periods of rain, this is quickly becoming difficult to avoid and really does need addressing.

Passed the drain at lunch time today 30/03/2019. The stink from this drain is overpowering !! I suppose that an outbreak of cholera has got to happen before the useless Transport for Bucks repair the drain. Would not be surprised if they blame it on Brexit.

This problem still persists! We had a false dawn that it would be repaired when a series of roadworks signs were put up ...but this ended yup to be other matters. The water is stinks and is clearly a health and safety problem and a risk to pedestrians. My daughter has to manoeuvre her way past this everyday going to work. It is ridiculous that you cannot get this fixed. At the very least put a sign over the offending gulley so traffic does not drive through the puddle and splash the pathway and pedestrians ...as others have said, are you waiting for somebody to get sick before you act? Weil's disease or something of that sort? Please DO SOMETHING!!!!

This drain is still not fixed after several months! The stench of raw sewage is appalling and the risk to pedestrians being splashed with what is clearly sewage is unacceptable. This is a public health issue. I am about to, and I suggest others, complain to the MP for High Wycombe Steve Baker MP. I am also going to contact the local press to see if they can put pressure on the authority to fix this.

I want to express my support for the actions of the other person reporting this matter. I was with my daughter again over the weekend and the problem is as bad as ever. Every day, at least twice a day, she has to navigate her way round this disgusting drain at risk of getting splattered with foul water that may well be carrying water bound diseases. This is clearly a serious health & safety risk to the public and it is unfathomable that Bucks CC would risk the health & safety of pedestrians for lack of care, competence or diligence in dealing with this.

3 Months and 1 day and still this blocked drain is fouling the carriageway, the pavement and a poor persons front garden - as can be seen in the picture I took this morning. I've informed Bucks Free Press and contacted Steve Baker MP as I said I would yesterday. Come on Bucks - sort this filth out!

I fully support the other people concerned about this. Absolutely ridiculous that Bucks CC do not appear to have any reasonable regard for the health & safety of anybody who is affected by this.

And today I was sprayed with crap by a van as I was passing. God knows what filthy germs I have been covered with. This is a public health issue that needs sorting.
Can we at least get a response from Bucks CC about this issue, instead of ignoring us.

Bucks CC are endangering the health & well-being of the public through their inaction on this matter. I have today spoken to Environmental Health at Wycombe District Council and forwarded the link to these reports and asked them to issue enforcement notice on the matter.

Bucks CC were trying to pass the blame to Thames Water (but had failed to report it to them). When Thames Water were finally informed they came out the same day to inspect (23 May) and duly informed Bucks CC that in fact it was a blocked gully which is the responsibility of Bucks CC to fix. WHICH THEY HAVE YET TO DO!. This morning the situation was just as bad with filthy waste water all across the pavement, the carriage way and the poor persons front gate and garden. I have had responses from both Steve Baker MP and Bucks Free Press who are chasing this issue too. I've also initiated an official complaint to Bucks CC - and suggest others do the same.

Well done for that. Gross incompetence of Bucks CC still continuing to put the Health & Safety of the public at risk.

I have formally complained to Bucks CC about the gross incompetence in this matter and the serious risk to health & safety, well being & health of the public this presents. This matter should have been resolved 3 months ago. This is unacceptable service from Bucks CC.

This morning I passed the blocked drain again, the smell was dreadful. This is now gone passed a joke!! Bucks CC should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. Firstly for trying to pass the buck on to Thames Water and secondly for the failed attempt of trying to play the blame game. The person who is responsible for this should be getting there P45 !!!!!!!!!!!!

I've just had a response to my official complaint that details the circumstances that led to the delay. I won't bore you with the details but it appears the drain was cleared on the 6th June and is now running clear (which it appears to be). My complaint was upheld - which was nice. It's also good to finally have this issue resolved.
