On left of the road approximately where the pin is dropped
Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 16:21, Fri 15 March 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1573429.
The hole is huge. It gave me an immediate puncture today, 15 March 2019, and has likely damaged my wheel and even suspension. It is going into the garage next week. There was no way to avoid this and it has obviously been there a while. Reason I was coming down this road is because Keepers Lane was closed I believe due to a fallen tree blocking the road.

As ‘Keepers Lane’ has been closed off by the council, the only nearby alternative route down to the A413 is via ‘Chalk Lane’.
The council has obviously not checked that ‘Chalk Lane’ is a suitable alternative route for ‘Keepers Lane’ traffic and that it is free from pot holes or reported pot holes.
On Tuesday 19 Mar 7:40pm, I took the detour down ‘Chalk Lane’ and hit the same reported pot hole (Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 16:21, Friday 15 March 2019).
I have destroyed my alloy rim and new (2 months old) Michelin Primacy 4 tyre. See 3x pictures.
As this pothole had been previously reported and that there is long term road maintenance going on in this nearby area. I am making a claim for damages to my rim and tyre.
How do I go about making a claim ? Please respond...
Yours faithfully,
Colin
