Deep potholes in the road
Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 00:11, Mon 3 June 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 9 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1646241.
Gold Hill East is a complete shambles. There have been for months now potholes at the top, where cars have to swerve to avoid it. Further down, because of your allowing the development of the old site of the convent, the heavy Lorraine's have created a few more. A person has come out and sprayed a white marker around only a few of the holes, well what about doing it properly and repairing them all, equally not the usual efforts where in a few months it is back to where it was before. I can honestly say the roads around Bucks are the worst in the country.

Only a small percentage of the holes in the road have been fixed. It is inconceivable that the remaining holes in the road have been left. Everyday vehicles swerve the holes to avoid problems an,d to do that runs the risk of colliding with other road users. How anybody representing the local authority can leave the remaining potholes, especially the ones alongside the stretch of road just down from Gold Hill church, does the local authority a great deal of damage and lack of credibility.

Nobody ever gets back to you from the council to deal with the problem.

As the last update, still cars have to drive dangerously round the holes onto the other carriageway, but as this has been mentioned before the council clearly do not think this is a problem?? These roads are a disgrace, just drive down Austenwood Close to see what I mean. Lastly, for 5 years or longer I have been requesting new pavements to replace the ones that the heavy Lorraine's ruined when Farmers Place was created. Your authority has been out and we have recently been promised them, but when?
