Dear Rozanne, Thank you for contacting Transport for Buckinghamshire. I have asked the schemes engineer to carry out an inspection. Our work is not yet complete in Penn Road, we will be returning later in the summer to carry out surface dressing, and the ironwork will be adjusted (if required) shortly afterwards. Kind regards, Mary McElhinney

Buckinghamshire County Council Klunking sound when cars go over manhole cover. Last week you completed some road surfacing on Penn Rd in Knotty Green Beaconsfield, which is great. BUT there is a square metal plate (manhole or drains cover?) just outside our drive (Broad Eaves) and, since re-surfacing, about 2 out of 3 cars going over it cause a loud 'klunking' sound, which is unsustainable, especially early morning! Would you kindly see what you can do to eliminate this problem. Wait to hear ..Many thanks. Rozanne
