Deep well in Road approx. 6ft x4ft. Problem has been there for a couple of years, but this year it's been getting worse and has broken through to concrete/sub base

    We have inspected the defect in line with our Highway Safety Inspection Policy, and the defect does not currently meet the criteria for immediate intervention. This enquiry is now closed, but details of the defect will remain on our system and will continue to be inspected in line with our policy. Further updates will not be given on this enquiry.

  • I live at 32 Chippendale Close and the problem with the road in front of my house is still there. The road is subsided and there are two places where the tarmac surface has broken away down to the concrete.
