Directly outside no.5 Chiltern Hills Road
Reported in the Street light not working category anonymously at 19:17, Mon 4 November 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1831807.
This street light was previously reported as not working on 19 August and was fixed on 25th September. It has stopped working again. This is currently particularly dangerous as this part of the road is repeatedly experiencing deep flooding across its width and over the pavements (reported separately). Several times, the flooding has occurred after dark. The combination of the kerbs, verges and pavements being under water and the gloom caused by this light not working is hazardous to pedestrians and motorists. Therefore, please repair this light urgently.

On Saturday afternoon (9 November), Chiltern Hills Road flooded again and in the gloom, a lady fell and was injured near this non-working light as she tried to negotiate the flood water. I have already flagged the combination of ongoing flooding and the light not working as a safety hazard. The priority for repairing this light needs to be escalated. Please repair it without delay.
