Dip near Chalfont St Peter Road sign where is always floods due to blocked drain
Reported in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 21:53, Thu 7 November 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1837005.
The drainage in the dip near the CSP road sign is a severe problem for most of every year due to the fact that, despite flooding problems beings reported time and time again, it only seems to get cleared about twice a year. It took most of last Winter to get it cleared. I have written to Highways recently highlighting the danger of people ploughing into the flood at night because they can't see it when coming from CSP. Please get this cleared before there is a major accident and keep it cleared. It's exceedingly annoying to have negotiate this problem every day on my route to work, especially when I have a small car, not a 4x4 or van and can't go ploughing through the middle, creating a bow wave for others. Much money has been spent on re-surfacing Narcot Lane and white-lining it yet nothing has been spent on the drainage. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE sort this soon. Thank you.
