On tarmaced entrance to "The Rushes"
Reported in the Blocked drain category by Mr B Squires at 15:31, Tue 19 November 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1853409.
This piece of land belongs to the Council & to my knowledge the drain has never been cleared in 30+ years we have lived in The Rushes. Because of the water which flows down the footpath (No 25?) from the Henley Road after heavy rain part of the Rushes get very flooded & the drain cant cope. I have last week cleared some of the silt from the drain area. We have attempted to make the drainage ditch a little less overgrown. Can you help improve the drainage please

I have continued further efforts to create a clear path for water running down the (ditch/path 25?) from the main Henley road to reach the blocked drain, At least two houses (Nos 36/38) on Pound Lane are complaining about water entering their garage floors. Silt has now built up over the top of the drain causing a very large puddle to form on the tarmacked area during/after rain. Have BCC any ideas when this scheduled drain emptying will be actioned please.
