Lack of response to increasing road surface proble
Reported in the Pothole category by S Harvey at 09:39, Sat 7 December 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1878243.
Pothole in the road outside the Health Centre and opposite 1 Avenue Road, Winslow is getting deeper and larger. Combined with the blocked drain a little further down Avenue Road (reported nearly a year ago but still blocked) it is creating a danger to vehicles and especially cyclists but also a hazard to pedestrians crossing the road. The whole of Avenue Road is now breaking up in many places and requires examination and efficient repairs or complete resurfacing. I would add this could due to poor drainage as a number of the drains are not actually in the gutter. Surely where there is a GP Surgery and a Health Centre being affected repairs should be prioritised?

This pothole was marked up and repaired quickly. The blocked drain also appears to have been cleared. Thank you. This has helped a lot but some water is still collecting in the gutter and creating a risk of splashing pedestrians on the narrow pavement.
