Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1990602.
This area of Hampden Common has bee maintained by the local occupants (3 Houses) in excess of 40 years.. A Tree Surgeon completed works 2 years ago at a personal cost to me of £800.
It is in his opinion necessary to organise road closures to accommodate the following works:- Mature Ash has bracket fungus, at approx 40ft together with ash die back The main trunk is approx 48" dia. and divides into 5 substantial limbs which have commenced dropping significant sections. There are 3 further trees Ash, Sycamore and Maple. These being in the lee of the woods are all leaning towards Ferns Farmhouse. The Ash has dieback the Sycamore is hollow. The root plates of all were recently severed by contractors installing Fibre Optic Cables. This will in due course aggregate their leaning.
It was the Tree Surgeons opinion that all 4 trees should be felled. ASAP
Around 2000 I suffered a mature tree in Hughenden Road falling onto my car. The Volvo protected me but because of the damage sustained was written off. An 8" bough crushed the roof, entered the windscreen, flipped the dash but fortunately missed me.
