THIS IS NOT A NEW PROBLEM!
I reported this approx 2-3 years ago, and nothing has been done about it. The problem starts it the junction of Upper Icknield Way (A4009) and Stablebridge Road (south-west of our location on the map), which is an elevated position to the area that floods. When it rains the rain water flows downhill towards our property on the other side of the road due to the natural camber on the slight left-hand bend travelling down hill. There are no gullies cut into the verge to the adjacent ditch for the rainwater to drain into, therefore, when it get just prior to the entrance of our property and that of Lodge Farm, the camber switches to the opposite side (therefore towards our property) due to the oncoming right-hand bend, where all to water collects. There is only one drain outside of our property to service all the rainwater from Stablebridge Road. Consequently when the road is flooded the traffic travelling from Tring Hill along Upper Icknield Way splash water over the roadside walls of our property, which has now meant that the wall has eroded. If this had been dealt with initially this would not have been a problem. Also a further and equally serious problem is that due to the surface water collecting on the road vehicles swerve onto the wrong side of the road to avoid the flood, but on numerous occasions oncoming vehicles have had to take evasive action. Hopefully, on reading this you can see that this situation is in need of immediate action.

So still 5 months later this problem hasn't been fixed, but the council has supposedly been at work during the lockdown period, but there seems to be a breakdown in the way things work.
WE pay taxes to pay YOUR wages, so that YOU can carry out jobs the WE need doing in our area.
So if you don't want to do the jobs I need doing, then fine maybe I should stop contributing to the paying of your wages.
Please respond ASAP
