Ref 40077291,
Dear Rosie Taylor, Thankyou for your email dated 7/2/20 with regards to my concerns about the length of time it took to repair a trench on the Farnham Road almost directly outside my property. Unfortunately, your reply lacks depth and detail, and does not address my concerns. Further your reply seems scripted and does not appear to have any investigation. To help, please see the following points to assist you further. 1) Please refer to reference number 493252, this goes back to February 2015, for over four years i prompted and raised concerns that the trench needed urgent repairs. Why did it take over four years for repairs to take place. 2) Please look into concerns i raised about the detrimental impact the worn out trench was having on my property, as well as the mental anxiety this was causing to my family due to the ripple effect impact of large vehicles crossing the damaged trench, all these concerns were via email, available to inspect. 3) The lack of response to my phone calls. 4)What changed after four years for the repair to take place, according to your colleague, '' It was due to a barrage of complaints from residents and not due to any further deterioration of the trench'', this comment made by the colleague to my mobile on 10/6/2019. Whilst the list is not exhaustive, and i do not wish to sound obtuse, i feel i have a right to know why my concerns regarding the distress caused by the faulty trench, by way of disturbed sleep and anxiety, were ignored. The lack of credible response and empathy is of alarming concern should the same problem re-appear. Respectfully, should the above be out of your remit, please be so kind to provide details of further escalation process. Emails correspondence from 2015 until 2019 is available to inspect. I look forward to a more detailed reply. This message sent via this method as instructed by the call centre for Transport for Bucks, as they refused to give me your email address for reply purposes.
