Bottom of New Road to Junction with Nags Head Lane, below where privately maintained road ends.road
Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 15:15, Tue 24 March 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 2072321.
As previously notified, (by self in May 2018,) there is an ongoing maintenance issue from the point where the private road ends and the council maintained section of road begins. From the picture you can see the white line which designates the end of the privately maintained road, "New Road," and joint to Nags Head lane. The allocation of maintenence responsibility has been established for decades. The attached pictures using shoe for scale illustrate the size of the pothole in the council maintained section of roadway. Frustratingly, another problematic hole was recently repaired, yet this one, evident at the time of the other repair, was ignored. We all understand the current pressures with covid etc, but would appreciate your giving this due attention when possible. Gordon Farquhar on behalf of the New Road Frontagers Association.
