Glass left in road by refuse removal truck

Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 14:15, Tue 12 May 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Every time we have a blue bin recycling collection in Mere Close, Marlow, and surroundings roads, the truck leaves broken pieces of glass in the road. This has been happening for months, Its has been reported several times to the Waste Collection Service via their online system but unfortunately it keeps happening. One of the operatives told the residents some time ago that they knew about the problem – a problem wrong with the truck. It would seem when it compresses the glass & plastic, some falls out at the bottom onto the road so every time they fill up with glass etc, it happens. Obviously this is a hazard to drivers, cyclists and pedestrians.
