Frith Hill path from south Heath cross roads
Reported in the Footpath / pavement problem category anonymously at 07:30, Sat 18 July 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2205606.
Our only path out of the village of south Heath remains so overgrown it is very dangerous. For the last few years I have asked for this path to be widened and cleared as it is our only path out of the village and our walking route to school! I have to walk in the road in the road with my children as you can see there is no room on the path and there is no way you could socially distance yourself anywhere! Please we cannot wait for a child or adult to be seriously injured or worse before action is taken. Please help us and sort out our footpath.

For years now I have repeatedly reported this dangerous footpath!! We now have no choice but to walk in the road to make sure our children are not hit my car wing mirrors I have today been subjected once again to verbal abuse from a driver for walking in the road! I do not expect for my children to have to witness such anger and violence on their walk to school! This is totally unacceptable and the path has to be made safe immediately before there is a terrible accident!

Yet again I am adding more photos to your 'Fix my street ' You will see the tyre marks that show a very large vehicle has mounted the entire footpath. With the increase in HS2 lorries this is likely to happen more and more. Now more than ever it is absolutely urgent that this footpath gets cleared of years worth of vegetation to widen the path to make it safe for use as our children walk to school daily. The offensive graffiti in the underpass still remains months later. It is disgusting that young children have to see this every single morning.
