Stoke Lane, Great Brickhill

Reported in the Sign problem category anonymously at 18:21, Wednesday 5 August 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Stoke Lane is a single track road which leads onto a Public Bridleway. Between Ammonite House and Haines Farm to track width is less than 2 metres with bends, no footpath, steep sides with vegetation and visibility is less than 10 metres in either direction. There has been a number if incidents on this track which has a 30mph speed limit which is ludicrous. I narrowly missed a head on Collison while riding my horse. This route is a popular route linking with other Rights of Way, used daily by walkers, cyclists and horse riders. Drivers should be advised of the road/track conditions, please revise the speed limit to 10mph, put in place correct signage ie No though Road, No Footpath , all users need to be aware of the hazards before a serious accident happens, please do it soon
