Section of Oxford Road SL72NL between numbers 78 and 94
Reported in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 08:41, Thu 13 August 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2243009.
There are two blocked drains in the road in this section, and the pavement drains are full of debris. Every time it rains heavily the water backs up and threatens the doorsteps of mine and other properties. In heavy rain I have to wade out of my house or remain inside until the water subsides. The situation has become progressively worse in the last few months

This was the situation outside my front door at 80 Oxford Road this morning 3rd October. Beneath the water is a pavement drain which is totally blocked. Outside numbers 90 and 92 there are two further pavement drains which are also totally blocked. The result of this is that the whole stretch of the pavement from 78 to 92 is under water every time we get a heavy rainfall. I first alerted you to this problem on 13th August. Please will you come and see the situation for yourself, and remedy it as soon as possible before the water comes through our front doors. Thank you

Today I have spoken to Jaz and explained again about the drains. In addition I told him about the drop in the pavement outside my house caused by the 20 ton lorry parked while unloading and again loading a cinema marquee (photos attached). The dip in the pavement just exacerbates the problem when it rains. The drains are blocked all the way up to number 92 and then the water collects outside in the dip and backs up over my doorstep. Please would you look at this problem as soon as possible as winter is coming and more rainstorms can be expected. Pleas could you also keep me informed. Thank you
