From outside The Dolphin public house up to the cottages
Reported in the Blocked drain category by Patrick Mullins at 12:18, Fri 14 August 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2245232.
This problem has been reported before and some time ago work was done to raise the level of the road to help water run to the drains. The problem now is that the drains (as many others in the village) are blocked. One of the causes of this is the amounts of straw dropped from tractor/trailers during harvesting. However it also appears that some idiot has emptied cement down one of the drains just past The Dolphin entrance. As can be seen this now makes it precarious for traffic trying to avoid the water and makes it very difficult for pedestrians who get caught when walking past the water and traffic hits the water
