LC001A opposite 58 Station Road
Reported in the Street light dim category anonymously at 12:23, Tue 25 August 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 2262432.
The lamp in question is opposite 58 Station Road Marlow, SL71NX The lamp head is the old bright orange sodium type and has a photoelectric detector dome on the top The lamp head however is surrounded by tree branches and the lamp lens is green with moss As a result the light has been on permanently for many weeks, and is throwing very little light onto the road junction and footpaths below ,
With autumn around the corner and for safety reasons the junction lighting needs to be restored
Several of the lamp heads nearby have been upgraded with the more modern slim white LED type light lamp but the two on the corner seem to have been forgotten .
The resident of no. 58 Station Road has asked that a forward beam detector be fitted to the front of lamp as it is level with the front main bedroom and the light used to shine directly into the front bedroom before the tree branches grew around it ,
