Junction at retail park traffic lights
Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights & crossings problems with timings category anonymously at 14:14, Thu 29 October 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2362572.
Since the +6 month roadworks were completed traffic from town centre to the junction with the retail park and MIcklefield Road has become horrendous most of the day. I timed the lights yesterday and the red light was on for 1m. 49 seconds. When it went green it lasted 35 seconds. Today at 12.03 I entered London road at the start of the Rye and it took 29 minutes to get to the retail park. The sequence of light changes is causing the problem and timings need to change to address the different traffic flows. I understand that £6.6m was spent on this "improvement". What a waste on our money and the fool who devosed it should go.
