Small lane off the High Road next to village hall. This lane is maintained by the Council as far as the entrance to my property. Proof can be supplied if necessary and has previously been done so in 2015 and at that time a Council Officer, Cathy Whilden, agreed this was the case.

Some repairs were made to the entrance to this lane and a pot hole part way down, on Wednesday March 3rd but the worst pothole in the council maintained section was missed. The pothole is 85cm long 55cm wide and aprox 5cm deep. I have to drive through it every time I leave or arrive home. The lane is council maintained as far as the entrance to my property (The Old Post Office) although this is not shown on the map on your website. I made my previous report, 40158074, at 4 pm on Friday March 6th and received a reply back stating that it had been inspected and no planned repair was necessary at 7pm. the same day, Was a visual inspection made in this very short time period, or was it declared ok because some work had already been carried out two days earlier. The pothole I am reporting is much larger than those repaired on Wednesday which needed to be filled, so I believe this one needs a repair as well. Although no damage, as yet, has been incurred to my car I think if untreated future damage will occur, as I cannot avoid the pothole on exit and entry to my property, so it will only get worse.
