The full length of Carters lane

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 16:25, Wednesday 28 July 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

There are a number of areas along this road where both sided of the road have subsided causing the centre of the road to be considerably higher than the outer edges. It is clear by the marks on the road surface that a number of vehicles have hit the road in the centre, mine being one of these. The subsidence has become dangerous as parts of the road surface have now come away and in my case caused significant damage to the underside of my vehicle. This road has been utilised as an alternative route while work was being carried out on other roads in the area while they are been repaired has caused further damage to this a single track road including HGVs. Clearly this road was never intended to be used by HGV’s.
