Large amount of water puddling
Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 16:28, Thu 17 March 2022
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3396447.
I have reported this water remaining after the rain before, it is opposite the entrance to Burnham Cricket Club. When you drive through it it creates a tidal wave, particularly when other side of the road enter and go slow and it becomes hazardous as it obscures vision on the window whilst you are trying to drive along the road.

Thank you for your report regarding a drainage issue, which has been passed to the Local Area Technician to investigate.
We know that an important part of any road network is the drainage system which is designed to carry water away from the road surface. Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low lying area.
The Local Area Technician will carry out an inspection within 10 days and order a repair if required.
IMPORTANT: If you consider this to be dangerous or an emergency, please call us on 0300 131 6000
Otherwise, by submitting the report online we will deal with it in line with our agreed timescales.Regards
Buckinghamshire Council
