Obstructive vehicle Y171 DTV Garratt's Way and Gandon Vale
Reported via desktop in the Abandoned vehicles category anonymously at 13:48, Mon 25 April 2022
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3481330.
Vehicle with registration number Y171 DTV has been situated on the junction of Garratt's Way and Gandon Vale for weeks now, remaining unmoved. Part of the front registration number is missing and the vehicle's MOT expired on 12 March 2022, more than a month ago. The position of the vehicle limits visibility for other drivers manoeuvring out of Gandon Vale onto Garratt's Way.. 25/04/22 Vehicle is still here and has yet to be removed. It is causing an obstruction on the road and footpath and creating a hazard for pedestrians and pushchairs. The police have advised residents to contact the council about this. Council was notified but still nothing has been done. Please advise ASAP what action is being taken. The vehicle was driven here without a valid MOT certificate You can't legally drive or park your vehicle on the road if its MOT has expired. The only exceptions are to drive it to or from somewhere to be repaired, or to a pre-arranged MOT test. MOT tests from the AA - but the vehicle was left here several weeks after the MOT expired. Please advise. Thank you
