Farm Drive

Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 09:14, Mon 9 May 2022

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later

I received a reply to my other request that the site has been inspected and there is no issue. Please see the attached photograph. Furthermore, the drains are not listed on your site - but are council installed and managed drains on the farm drive, just before the farm drive meets the road. I hope that you can see this drain is full blocked and not functional. I had reported this at a time when I know there were drainage unblocking works occurring locally, and we had hoped this could added / may still be added to the schedule of works locally. Thank you.

Updates

  • Thank you for your report regarding a drainage issue, which has been passed to the Local Area Technician to investigate.

We know that an important part of any road network is the drainage system which is designed to carry water away from the road surface. Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low lying area.

The Local Area Technician will carry out an inspection within 10 days and order a repair if required.

IMPORTANT: If you consider this to be dangerous or an emergency, please call us on 0300 131 6000
Otherwise, by submitting the report online we will deal with it in line with our agreed timescales.

    Regards
    Buckinghamshire Council
