Flossing of property due to new road surface
Reported via mobile in the Flooding on a road/footpath category anonymously at 11:21, Sat 6 August 2022
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3734779.
Since the road, Bridge street was resurfaced two years ago , when we have heavy or consistent rain, our drive gets flooded to the point you get wet feet going out the front door. The road is now higher than our drive which wasn’t previously the case. This means when it rains snd due to lack of drainage on the road, The water from the street now rushes down the road and straight down our drive. Our soak away cannot cope with the level of water as it was designed just for the garage. We have had to replace the soak away twice now due to it collapsing under the amount of water going through it. Please can you advise what action can be taken. Thank you
