Dangerous pavement
Reported via mobile in the Footpath / pavement problem category anonymously at 18:53, Mon 8 August 2022
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3739668.
Second time of reporting this, my elderly parents are struggling to get out with mobility aids on this stretch of pavement. It has crumbled & holes appeared and at the corner of their property, right hand side of looking at it, there is a large dip/ramp where we have witnessed an elderly gentleman tripping up it! You say it’s not a problem but clearly is to the many elderly residents in this area. These people have paid their council tax for years in this area but you are now failing them by not repairing this dangerous area. I’m sure when someone trips and has serious injuries from this it would be cheaper to repair than face a claim! Please reconsider as the elderly & in my case, my parents who live there, are frightened to use their aids thus restricting them .
